Law of the Stag

Somewhere along the line the stag/bachelor night has drifted from a quiet pint to an opportunity to ritually embarrass your best mate. Not always. Absolute Celebrations offers a range of fancy dress without being too cruel about it!

This convict costume is not too embarrassing and is part of our affordable fancy dress range. We even have  a novelty ball and chain to team it with (we won't tell the bride it's named after her, honest!)

£12.99

For something a bit more daring why not try this bright blue Morph suit (we also have it in black)...

£16.99

...or perhaps channel your inner rock star with this fabulous 'business at the front, party at the back' wig for the follicly challenged stag?

£9.99

A favourite for 2012 is the 'Where's Wally costume. Maybe have the stag in the full costume and his mates in scarves and glasses?

£18.99

Maybe your man of the moment is a big baby and you want the whole world to know...?? This baby blue onesie is perhaps not for the shy and retiring groom to be! We even have an oversized dummy to add to the experience.

£19.99

Finally, if you feel the need for speed, check out this authentic Smiffy's Top Gun jumpsuit. Team with some aviators and you're ready to go Maverick.

£18.99

Absolute Celebrations will be adding to their range throughout 2012 so keep checking back for more stag fancy dress!

Last Night - Hen Night Themes #1

The time has come for all you Spring brides to turn your mind to your last night of freedom. The hen night, the bachelorette party, call it what you will, some things are universal. It's a time to have fun, be with your loved ones and enjoy your final single night out.

Long gone are the days of a quiet drink the night before the ceremony to mark the occasion, these days bridal parties are more likely to involve a package holiday abroad, a weekend of slumber parties in a remote location or an overnight stay somewhere decadent.

Over the next twelve months, Absolute Celebrations will be adding some inspiration to your hen party wish list, with ideas and themes for decorations, activities and outfits.

Don't worry grooms, we've got some ideas lined up for you too!

To kick things off, here's a few of the upcoming themes we'll be featuring...

Traditional

A few 'L' plates and head boppers never harmed anyone. For a wild and to the point hen night, check out our pink and fluffy accessories.

Black & Bling

For the classy night out (or in) these sparkly accessories will add a touch of understated glam to your hen night. Have your hens in black with blingy jewellery to continue the theme.

Colour Block

All your hens in one colour with the bride in another can't fail to impress and cause a stir in the bars and clubs. Add to the theme with table jewels and confetti in your chosen colour.

What could proclaim 'we are here' more than a dozen bumblebees, ladybirds or pirate queens descending on a local nightspot? Absolute Celebrations has a wide range of hen party friendly outfits, wigs and accessories. You might go for a stetson or two or go the whole hog with a full on outfit, tutu and wig. Hen night fancy dress doesn't have to be trashy, go for a demure angel or banana suit, the sky's the limit!

We will be adding to our range over the next few months so please keep checking back!!

St. Patrick's Party

It's almost that time of year again. That time when everyone exploits the smallest link to Ireland in their family history to have an emerald isle themed knees up and partake in a spot of the black stuff. And who's stopping them? Not us!!

Absolute Celebrations have party decorations and favours perfect for an Irish night in or out.

Check out our emerald tableware for your St. Patrick's party, starting from £1.99.

Add some Gaelic glam to your table with this metallic table confetti....

£2.99
...or these hanging shamrock party decorations

£2.99

We also have a cute oversized Leprachaun beard and hat from Smiffy's for only £4.99. Whilst it might not be the most culturally enlightened item, it is pretty fun!

Enjoy your night!!

Celebrity Fancy Dress #2 Kirsten Dunst

Kirsten Dunst has been a childlike vampire, a fated French Queen and Mary Jane to Peter Parker's Spiderman.

She's also partial to a spot of dressing up as well.

Check out her fun, bright tutu in a video shown in London's Tate Gallery a couple of years back.

Add the blue wig and you've got a serious colour riot that's hard to beat.

And if you can't beat it, join her! Absolute Celebrations has  range of fluorescent tutus, fishnet gloves and accessories to give Kirsten's get up a run for her money.  Check out our Neon Dreams range here!! and complete the look with a wig from our multicoloured range while you're there!
